The GED-ESG Index is based on publicly available data, data provided by third party vendors, and peer-reviewed models. Data sources include:
- Gross Domestic Product data is provided by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
- Emissions data for both local air pollution and greenhouse gases is provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
- Greenhouse gas emissions data is also available from the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program.
- The AP3 integrated assessment model is available on Nicholas Muller’s website.
- Time series market capitalization data is provided by Siblis®.
- Ambient pollution monitoring data is provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
