Yao Wang

Yao Wang is a Ph.D. student in Accounting at Carnegie Mellon University. She is interested in information disclosure and corporate governance. Her current research project empirically examines the antecedents and consequences of corporate voluntary environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosure.

Lavender Yang

Lavender Yang is a Ph.D. candidate in Accounting at Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business. She is broadly interested in firms' disclosure behavior, including incentives driven by both external monitoring (e.g. regulations) and managers' own interests. Prior to her Ph.D. she worked as a rotational analyst at RBC.

Thuy Nguyen

Thuy Nguyen is a Ph.D. student in Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. Her current research explores the environmental-economic tradeoffs of oil and gas extraction and examines how vehicle emission information impacts consumers' perceptions of automakers and vehicles, particularly passenger cars. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from Lawrence University.

Patrick M. Connor is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. His research is focused on the techno-economic analysis of carbon capture, transport, and storage, determining subsequent socially optimal levels of abatement, and modeling air quality effects of the technolgy.
