Census Regions & Divisions

The West Region of the United States is made up of two divisions. The Pacific division consists of Washington, Oregon, California Alaska and Hawaii. The Mountain Division consists of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
The Midwest Region of the United States is made up of two divisions. The West North Central consists of North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. The East North Central consists of Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
The Northeast Region of the United States consists of two divisions. The Middle Atlantic consists of New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The New England Region consists Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
The South Region of the United States consists of three divisions. The South Atlantic division consists of Maryland, District of Columbia, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. The East South Central division consists of Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. The West South Central division consists of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.

Midwest Region

West North Central:
Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota
East North Central:
Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin

Northeast Region

Middle Atlantic:
New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania
New England:
Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont

South Region

West South Central:
Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas
East South Central:
Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee
South Atlantic:
Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia

West Region

Pacific:

And lastly the South region broken down into the South Atlantic division consisting of Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia the West South Central division consisting of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas and the East South Central division consisting of Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee.
